Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of general carpentry experience that includes constructing decks, fences and other outdoor structures with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail
  • Read and understand plans
  • Design a deck framing plan
  • Think on your feet and provide solutions
  • Ability to organize, multi-task, plan and set priorities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively communicate, present information and respond to questions, both verbal and written in English
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Able to meet production goals while working within project budget
  • Tracks and records all job expenses which include materials and hours worked
  • Maintain and keep job site clean and safe
  • Monitor all tools, equipment, and machinery for needed maintenance
  • Ensures all safety rules and company policies are followed
  • Provide excellent customer service with being able to work effectively with a variety of individuals
  • Valid WA State driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Able to lift weight in excess of 60 lbs., bend, crouch, twist, and stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Experience of landscape construction including hardscape, welding, irrigation a plus
